Your entire life, you've been on the receiving end of inappropriate questions, hurtful comments, and confused stares, and it's affected you deeply.

And - worse yet - no one seems to get it. Your family and friends can’t relate. People are always invalidating your reality and telling you you’re just being sensitive. Even the therapists you’ve worked with haven’t been able to support you in the ways you need.

It’s left you feeling fragmented, empty, and like you don’t belong anywhere.

And yet, you have this constant - and very human, I might add - yearning to feel whole. And to have relationships where you feel held, seen, and heard.

A part of you hasn’t given up - you want to believe that you can find belonging.

You're in the right place.

What you’ll learn here at

Mixed Race Belonging

will help you recover from a lifetime of

being described in fractions,

and finally feel whole

in every room and relationship.

Hi, I’m Raina

Hi, I’m Raina, a queer, mixed race, neurodivergent ciswoman who was bullied as a child for being different and constantly worried about being liked as a teenager and college student….

…Until I finally found peace by reconnecting with my body through yoga, somatic therapy, and politicized somatic practice as an adult.

This work transformed my life, helping me cultivate a thriving community of chosen fam, build the bold business of my dreams, and so much more.

When you work with me you can trust you’ll be fully supported and seen in the unique experiences of being multiracial or multicultural.

A woman with dark hair in a bun, wearing a multicolored turtleneck sweater, sitting at a wooden table with a silver MacBook, colorful small toys, and a blue spherical object, smiling and looking at her laptop.

There are a couple of ways I can help you.

Both options are virtual, so no matter where you are, we can work together.

  • Bold Belonging

My one-on-one coaching program to help you get to the root of your belonging wound and heal it, so you can finally feel whole in any room, experience, or relationship you step into!

  • The Mixed Race Belonging Collective

An online community for mixed race folks where you’ll finally feel less alone and gain somatic skills that will help you handle the hardest moments — in real time.

  • Feeling seen in their mixed-ness

“Working with Raina was like finally having all the dots connect. As a person who is never just this or that, I find my experience is never fully accounted for in other spaces that center binaries. Raina's ability to weave theory, lived experience and practice together, designed for me as a mixed person, was deeply resonant.”

  • Building relationships without worrying about being rejected

“I was struggling with a sense of belonging as a mixed person, and a lot of fears around potential rejection and what others thought of me. I feel much more grounded in my own sense of self and able to distinguish others' needs from my own. I'm confident that I can build relationships that feel good for me from a place of authenticity, and can hold space for any fears or nerves that arise. Our work together has helped me feel more deeply rooted into myself and my ancestry.”

  • Feeling safe enough in her body to seek community

“Raina's  knowledge of how trauma lives in the body and her techniques to become more safely embodied have helped me become an active participant in my life again. She’s given me the tools to seek community and connection in new and exciting ways!”

Whether you identify as mixed, biracial, multiracial, or something else, you are welcome here. If you’re white-assumed, you are welcome here. If you only grew up around your white one side of your family, you are welcome here. If you don’t know any other mixed people, you are welcome here. If you have other intersectional identities - queer, adopted, disabled, undocumented, poly, kinky, neurocomplex - you are welcome here.

This work is about personal and collective liberation. None of us are free unless all of us are free. Let’s do this - together.
